3. Who you look up to ✨

Hello! 🤗

In this module we should make a presentation in pairs about someone we admire or consider a leader.

To choose this character we should take into account the contributions he or she has made that are important to us and the characteristics of what we consider a leader. 

A leader for us is someone who has an innovative idea or that can help, it could be a group of people, the environment, etc. This leader must be able to not only stay in words but to act and put into action his or her idea that will help make the world in which we live even better. 👩‍💼👨‍💼

With my partner we chose Greta Thunberg because we consider that for being so young she has generated a great impact on the world that many people have not achieved. 👩

Greta, since she was very young, was interested in the environment and in taking care of the Earth 🌎, since she realized that more than just taking care of it and respecting it, humans were destroying it just to get what they wanted. Greta not only talked about this topic with her family and friends, she proposed to take her ideas to the whole world, starting with her home, school, city, country and now the world. This girl has been so influential in caring for the environment that she was almost nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize without even being 18 years old. 

It was quite an interesting activity, although with my partner we already knew Greta and some of the things she had done, getting to know her better, her family, achievements, criticisms made of her, conditions, helped us to understand her better and admire her even more.
